Do you know you have access to an online specialist palliative care consultant at the click of a button?
As a result of the Round Four Local Palliative Care Grants Program funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, MGPN has established an online secure messaging consultancy service to assist you to provide optimum care for your palliative care patients both at home and in residential aged care facilities.
The project utilises the secure messaging service Argus to upload your patient management queries and download specialist advice and recommendations. To utilise the service, you must have access to Argus software on your practice computer system. Argus is available at a mimimal cost to practices. Exchange of messages and access to the consultant is available free of charge. The system is compatible with most general practice medical record and clinical systems with information able to be exchanges easily and securily between the GP and specialist.
