As part of the More Allied Health Service (MAHS) program funded by the Department of Health and Ageing, MGPN has established service level agreement to deliver podiatry services to rural communities within the region. MGPN has a partnership agreement with a number of podiatrists including: - A Step Ahead - Two days every two months from the Griffith Aboriginal Medical Centre;
- Footsteps Podiatry - One day per month from Hay Surgery and one day per month from Hillston Medical Centre;
- Wagga Foot Clinic - 6 sessions per month from Murrumbidgee Medical and Primary Care Centre;
- Shepparton Foot Clinic - One day per month from Tocumwal Community Health Centre.
The MAHS program funds approximately 800 occasions of service in podiatry per year. MAHS funded podiatry services can be accessed via local GP surgeries at no cost to patients.
